教會電子匙卡使用常見問答

申請、使用及管理流程詳解

一般問題

  • 問:教會大門的電子匙卡如何使用?
  • 答:會員獲得電子匙卡後,可用於解鎖教會大門。大門在打開、關閉後會自動鎖上,確保安全。

  • 問:教會是否仍可使用金屬鑰匙進出大門?
  • 答:鑰匙更換的过渡期結束後,所有金屬鑰匙將無法開啟大門,但仍可用於教會内部的其他門。
  • 問:何時開始實施全面電子門鎖系統?
  • 答:過渡期為期兩個月,結束後大門將完全切換為電子系統。

申請流程

  • 問:哪些會員有資格申請電子匙卡?
  • 答:需要在常規時間外每月三次或以上進入教會建築群的會員,可申請電子匙卡。
  • 問:如何申請電子匙卡?
  • 答:申請者需填寫並提交申請表,由主席、副主席或總務執事負責審批。
  • 問:申請獲批後如何領取匙卡?
  • 答:獲批後,可向總務執事或教會維護助理領取電子匙卡。
  • 問:申請電子匙卡是否需要繳交費用?
  • 答:申請時需繳交 20 美元可退還押金,因為匙卡有相關成本。

管理及責任

  • 問:電子匙卡遺失或損壞該怎麼辦?
  • 答:如匙卡丟失或損壞,請即時向教會報告。
  • 問:可以借用或轉讓電子匙卡給他人嗎?
  • 答:未經批准不得借出、轉讓匙卡,持有人需對其負全部責任。

  • 答:教會會根據會員使用頻率來審核是否繼續讓個人持有匙卡。

特殊情況與活動

  • 答:鼓勵於教會網上進行預約,活動期間大門可設定為無需匙卡進出。
  • 問:如有特殊或緊急需求但無匙卡,如何處理?
  • 答:可聯絡教會行政助理、主席、副主席、中午執事或教會維護助理協助進入。

Notice on Switch of Entrance Door Lock System from Physical Keys to Electronic Key System

 Why

  • The same keyed locks have been used in all main entrances since our church building was established more than 30 years ago. Many physical keys were copied, lost, and/or in possession by countless members (current or former) or non-members. Our church is far from a good secure and safe situation.
  • Because many events are held in our church buildings almost every day and doors are kept unlocked during events. It is too difficult to make sure doors are locked after events are done and all the people leave.
  • A new and more intelligent way is needed to strengthen the management of our key distribution and secure our building a lot better.

What

  • With the approval of the Board of Elders and Deacons, our church has invested and had an electronic key entry system installed on all primary entrances. Many thanks to Brother David Liu for his hard work on this.
  • The new system will allow an authorized user to unlock any primary exterior doors with an electronic key fob. The door will be automatically relocked when the door is closed again.
  • With the new electronic key system in place, we are going to kick off a 2-month transition to help our members to switch from physical keys to electronic keys.
  • After the transition is completed, the access of all primary exterior doors will be completely switched to the electronic system and all the current physical keys will not be able to open any exterior doors anymore. However, existent physical keys will remain functional on interior doors.

How

  • Members who require frequent access to the building complex outside regular hours—defined as three or more times per month—are eligible to apply for an electronic key.
  • There is an application form to fill out and submit for approval. The chair, the vice chair, or the general affairs deacon are the designated approvers.
  • Upon approval, the applicant will be entitled to obtain a key fob from the general affairs deacon or the building management assistant.
  • There is going to be a $20 refundable deposit for the key fob due to its associated cost.
  • Key fob holders should take full responsibility for its ownership. No one should lend or transfer a key fob without going through the approval process. Should damage or loss of a key fob occur, report immediately.
  • Church will continue to monitor the usage of individual key fobs to make sure frequent users will continue to have possession of a key fob.
  • For special events, we encourage making reservations with church admin to keep entrances unlocked during an event
  • For special needs, e.g. a group of workers who perform regular duty (landscaping, sanitation, flower arrangement), please contact the General Affairs Deacon or the Building Management Assistant for special arrangement.
